Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she coaches athletes. Annie was the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. The popular athlete is the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. In addition, she is known for taking home both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie, her parents, and her siblings were born and grew up at Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young childhood, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and loved working out. Many medals were awarded to her at school events. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 (by in 2021). She stands at 5'7" and her weight is approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie began CrossFit in California 2009. She performed well in initial competitions and was within the top 10 of 70. However, she was unable to win any awards but ended up in 11th place on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second place, and also won the silver medal same year. Following a long period of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performances earned her the title. Annie was a winner, having an outstanding performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to win the two CrossFit Games. Besides this in 2014 she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won bronze in CrossFit Games. At present, Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie has appeared as a spokesperson for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae and many other. Additionally, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel which has around a thousand subscribers where her training diet videos, family and travel vlogs are shared.
