Andra Day and Andi Matichak
Cassandra Monique Batie also known as Andra is a American R&B soul, soul and the singer/songwriter. She's been awarded a Grammy Award and Children's and Family Emmy Award. Golden Globe Award as well as Academy Award nominations are also among her accolades. Andra Days is a strong artist who also writes beautifully. She is not only a specialist in retro R&B Her musical origins are in gospel jazz and blues. Stand Up for Something, her contribution in 2017 to Marshall's score for the film Marshall was awarded her the Academy Award as well as an Academy Award and a Grammy. Amen (2018), Make Your Troubles go Away (2020) and their Golden Globe winning portrayal of Billie Holiday (The United States vs. Billie Holiday 2021) are all contributing to the excitement for the album she will release next. Andra, born Cassandra Monique Batie of Edmonds Washington was the resident in San Diego and metropolitan San Diego where she was a student and performed in her church. As she graduated from the School of Performing and Creative Arts, Andra Day began to concentrate on modern R&B and pop, but she soon discovered her jazz-inspired soul influences were what she was attracted to. Her debut album, Cheers to The Fall (2015) was recorded by the singer Adrian Gurvitz. She signed with Warner Bros. Records. It featured the track Rise Up that became an iconic song of social justice campaigns worldwide. The album received nominations twice for Grammy Awards. The album was nominated as Best R&B Album. The United States against Billie Holiday is a conceptual recording about the legend jazz singer. It was released by Day in the year. The same year, she was a part-time actress in a biopic of Holiday's life The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Andi Mattichak is an American actor. She first appeared in television series like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her film debut as Allyson Nelson, in the horror movie series Halloween as well as the sequels. Andi Matichak was an American actress, was born in Framingham, Massachusetts on 3 May 1994.
