Zoe-perry

Perry is born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Two of her earliest television appearances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played the role. However, her parents did not want her to perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry says she didn't want to be an actor in highschool but decided to start performing as a form of social interaction during her time at Northwestern University when she switched to it from Boston University. Perry started her acting career as an actress in New York after graduation, performing in minor role in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homesickness led to Perry return to California and find work as a theater actress. Perry's mother and I appeared on Broadway together as part of The Other Place, in 2013. The show featured the father of her character Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in 2015 in The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry played a part in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. Her father played her character in her role on the ABC drama Scandal. Also, she was cast on the CBS show The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger than Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. The role was selected via auditions having a strong association with it.
