Taylor Momsen is an American singer songwriter model and actress who hails from St. Louis Missouri. She is most well-known for her character on the CW television show Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's song has appeared in films and television shows that include How to Be a Single and Going the Distance. Taylor Momsen was born on June 26, 1993. she is the younger sibling of Sloane Momsen who is also an actor. She was a dancer at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. Her first professional role was in a Shake 'n Bake commercial that aired nationally at age of 3. Momsen's acting career came to abruptly end during a span that lasted three years. She then received the role as the main character in Misconceptions on WB. Momsen also appeared on the show Saving Shiloh in 2006. She was also among the top 3 for Hannah Montana, but Miley won the role.
